Today was my second seed stand at the Rochester Garden Club Garden Tour! I spoke to about 100 people, handing out over 70 native wildflower packets (which is about 2,500 seeds!). We gave out seeds for purple coneflower, bee balm, butterfly weed, anise hyssop, and nodding onion. This year, we were unable to collect the seeds ourselves, so we used seeds from Prairie Moon Nursery.
It was lovely to hear about everyone’s gardening projects around town and I hope there will be many more native wildflowers blooming next spring!
