It was a beautiful day for the Rochester Garden Tour! With many stops around Rochester, the Rochester Garden Club put on a great event.

This year, they invited me to host a seed stand and talk to people about native plants. Some new additions to the stand included free stickers and a donation jar.

Within four hours, all my seeds (over 100 packets with 25-50 seeds each!) had been handed out. There were many packets on the table, along with another bucket full on the seat next to me. The event is a total of six hours, and I am having a wonderful time talking to gardeners from town.

The stop on the tour with the seed stand has a native prairie of its own! It was a helpful example when explaining different flowers to people.

This has been a great experience and I hope I can host another seed stand soon.
